Project delivery
One engineering route from process brief to production handover.
Oxford Industrial Automation treats the robot, process equipment, controls, safeguarding and interfaces as one cell. Each stage is tied to agreed requirements and evidence so technical risk is reduced before site installation.
Discover
Convert the production objective into measurable requirements.
We review parts, materials, rates, quality, changeovers, environment, people, upstream and downstream equipment and site constraints.
Open assumptions and interface responsibilities are recorded so the concept is based on real inputs rather than a generic robot layout.
- Current-process study and data collection
- Part and variant matrix
- Material and safety-data review
- Acceptance-criteria definition

Engineer and prove
Resolve the process, motion and interfaces before installation.
The cell concept covers robot selection, process tool, services, fixtures, handling, controls, safeguarding, booth interfaces and maintenance access.
Design review, simulation and representative trials are used where they reduce material risk. Factory acceptance testing then demonstrates the agreed functions before shipment.
- Mechanical and electrical design
- Robot and PLC software
- Process trials and path development
- Factory acceptance testing
Install and support
Hand over a production system people can operate and maintain.
Site work includes agreed installation, interface checks, commissioning, acceptance testing and operator or maintenance training.
The documentation pack is aligned to the project scope and can include drawings, manuals, backups, risk information, inspection records and recommended spares.
- Site installation and commissioning
- Acceptance against agreed tests
- Operator and maintenance training
- Backups, manuals and support route
Questions before concept
Practical answers for your spraying project.
Every system is engineered around your parts, materials, finish and production targets.
Browse all FAQs →Do you offer turnkey robotic spray cells?
Yes, with the exact turnkey boundary defined in the proposal. Specialist booth, extraction, fire or material systems may be supplied directly or integrated through named partners.
What happens before a quotation?
We qualify the part, process, rate, environment, changeovers and site. Complex applications may need a paid study, survey or trial before a firm technical proposal.
Can you integrate with existing machinery?
Yes, subject to interface information, equipment condition, access, controls and safety requirements. A survey may be needed.
What training is included?
The agreed scope can cover normal operation, changeover, cleaning, recovery, first-line maintenance and backup procedures. Advanced programming can be added where appropriate.
